05/08/2011 - Website is live!

Hello there! No more news on the fundraising front, sadly - but I've been doing a lot of thinking and planning about potential fundraising event(s). I don't want to say too much just now in case it ends up not happening, but I'm hoping to organise a fundraising dinner/ball and/or a fashion show. I'm still somewhat undecided because I'm not sure how much interest there'd be in events like this (especially given the current economic climate!). We'll see.

That's the main reason I decided to make this website, actually. I thought if I did organise an event like that, then having a website to refer people to for more information would be good. Plus I quite enjoy making websites. I know this is extremely simple and not terribly exciting, but I think it gets the information across quite well. What do you think?

I'm still selling things on eBay. I had a little break because I was fed up of going to the Post Office every day, but I've now got some things up again and will be putting more in the next few days.

Also, very soon I should be able to start properly preparing for my car boot sale! We've had to put it on hold as the house is completely full of stuff at the moment. We should be able to move it all fairly soon though, which will give us space to store all the things I want to sell at the car boot. I'm planning on raiding the loft - I think I've got a fair few old toys up there. So that'll be fun.
